Muralist Julie Doyle has been putting that individual touch to walls, both indoors and out, in homes all over London and abroad, for the last 20 years. As well as transforming numerous children's bedrooms into the lands of their imagination, she has created murals in shops, nurseries and restaurants. Her murals can also be found in leading London hospitals, most notably in the paediatric departments, where doctors have been able to use them to great effect with the children.
Painting walls has been a passion of hers and still she never tires of transforming a dull or dingy wall, or even a ceiling or a floor! In fact Julie will paint anything, anywhere and, it seems, in any weather! In a recent project Julie painted a 52 metre wall of a Victorian school playground working through the cold and misty November days, dressed in hat, gloves and layers of clothing, to bring to life a magical world of characters from children's literature.
There are endless possibilities in which a mural can be used . Whether you want to create a child's nursery or a lively workspace, from your spare room, enliven a gloomy hallway, or immortalise your teenager's idols on their bedroom wall. Whatever your ideas may be Julie is confident that that she will meet your every need.
